Our Story…

June, 2011:

Rosie, the initial Owner, moved to Victoria from Vancouver and found that she missed having IKEA close by along with other popular shops she no longer had easy access to. As it turned out, when she visited family and friends in Vancouver, she started to frequent IKEA and bring back items for friends and neighbors. It wasn’t long before the idea and demand had them visiting IKEA weekly and sometimes bi-weekly.

September, 2013:

Enter in current Owners, Kim and Chris, two driven entrepreneurs who aspired to grow the business.  In September, 2014, we opened the Nanaimo location to service North Vancouver Island and once a month deliveries to Salt Spring Island and the other Gulf Islands, as needed.

Kim and Chris – Principal Owners:


Kim is the face behind the emails, dedicated to providing great customer service and takes joy in helping Vancouver Island residents (and surrounding islands) obtain items not accessible in their area. She is known for her helpful, friendly, respectful disposition and for her knowledgeable, systematic and efficient approach.

Chris is the face behind the wheel, highly skilled, he is dedicated to obtaining your requests by shopping for and locating your products in a timely fashion. He manages and assembles in a skilled, efficient, way, known for delivering product in a competent, fast, safe and effective manner.
